Illustrative data. Flight booking, dispatch and live status arrive with the Pilot Portal — nothing on this board is a live flight.
Preview figures. Air India Virtual has not started operations — these describe the network currently being prepared, not completed flying.
The experience
Every part of Air India Virtual is being built around one idea: that a virtual airline should feel like an operation you belong to, not a website you file hours into.
A published timetable built from real Air India city pairs, flown on a rotation you choose. Every sector has a flight number, an aircraft and a departure slot, so the network behaves like an airline rather than a list of random flights.
Available at launch
Start on the A320neo across the domestic trunk routes and work towards wide-body command. Ranks are earned through consistent, honest flying — never bought, and never handed out for turning up.
Coming in a future phase
Group departures, long-haul crossings and training sectors flown together on the online networks. Events are where the community actually meets, and where new pilots learn our procedures fastest.
Available at launch
AIV ACARS is a desktop companion that will record your flight and file the report for you — no manual paperwork, no disputed hours. This is coming in a future phase and is not available today.
Coming in a future phase
Indian routes are some of the most rewarding sectors in simulation. We wanted them flown properly.
Why this airline exists
Preview network
Six sectors from the schedule being prepared for launch — domestic shuttles, Gulf hops and the long crossings that give an airline its character. None of these are bookable yet.

A deliberately small fleet, chosen so pilots can move between types without relearning the airline. Narrow-bodies hold the domestic network together; the wide-bodies take it intercontinental.

Our first events are being scheduled now. Dates are confirmed on the community server once the founding roster is in place — everything below is preview content.

Inaugural
The first flight on the Air India Virtual network. Every founding pilot flies the same sector together, departing Delhi in a single wave down to Mumbai.
Long haul
Our flagship long-haul event. A full day sector across Central Asia and Europe, flown with staffed control where available and a shared arrival slot into Heathrow.
Group flight
A short evening shuttle flown in monsoon conditions — a relaxed, sociable sector built around crosswind approaches and busy terminal airspace.
Air India Virtual is being built now, and the pilots who arrive first will shape how it flies — the schedule, the standards, the events. If you fly a desktop simulator and want an airline that takes the operation seriously without taking itself too seriously, there is a seat here for you.
